Our Story
The story of Blue Chip started in Detroit in the 1960s through the 1980s, where the streets were filled with the spirit of music and fun. As a tribute to his father who owned The Blue Chip Lounge, Johnny O’Clock Newton created his own entertainment company and has since been DJ’ing for over 17 years now.
What makes the Blue Chip DJ’s stand out is our ability to keep guests dancing all night, keep the party going and do it in a way that adds class and humor. DJ Johnny always says, “We’re going to find that one person in the corner, and make sure they have the time of their life.”
